Your tasks

As a member of Germany’s largest freight airline, you will coordinate activities and leverage the contribution of specialist teams of Crew Scheduling (CSD), Flight Dispatch and Maintenance Control (MOC/MCC) in a 24/7 environment. This will achieve network schedule integrity, ensuring sound processes that adhere to optimum service and cost parameters. You will act as the first point of contact for the network & maintenance customers of European Air Transport (EAT) Leipzig GmbH in terms of communication, problem solving, decision-making, service enhancement and mitigation of service disruption. Further duties will include issuing regular operational reports and pro-actively participating in planning and service improvement initiatives (meetings, proposals, service review forums).

Your profile
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Training and 5 years experience in airline operations, including maintenance topics, CSD, flight dispatch and/or DHL Express network experience/knowledge
  • Willing to work shifts; proven ability to work effectively in a complex, dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Strong communicator with good analytical abilities, excellent leadership skills and an assertive, creative and positive attitude to problem solving
  • Knowledge of flight operations tools, procedures and regulatory framework, including the statutory requirements for airworthiness
  • Confident in spoken and written English; some knowledge of German would also be an advantage
